How to enable Jotly in live theme

After creating your size charts, you need to enable Jotly in your live theme so it appears on your store. This is a quick two-step process that takes just a few minutes.

Step 1: Enable App Embed

First, you need to enable the Jotly app embed in your theme. This allows Jotly to function on your store.

1. Go to the Jotly admin portal in your Shopify admin
2. Navigate to the Settings page
3. Click on the Enable App Embed button
4. This will redirect you to your live theme's Shopify customizer
5. Simply click the Save button in the top right corner
6. Close the customizer tab and return to the Jotly settings page

Step 2: Configure Button Placement

Now you need to tell Jotly where to display the size chart button on your product pages.

1. On the Jotly settings page, look for the button placement options
2. Select Add anywhere in your product page
3. Click Save to apply the settings

Step 3: Add the Jotly Block to Your Product Page

After saving the settings, you'll see an Add Block button appear below the "Add anywhere in your product page" option.

1. Click the Add Block button
2. This will open your theme customizer
3. You'll see the Jotly app block that you can now drag and drop
4. Place the Jotly app block anywhere on your product page
5. Recommended: Position it just above the "Add to cart" button for maximum visibility
6. Click Save in the theme customizer

Verify It's Working

After completing these steps, visit any product page on your store that has a size chart assigned to it. You should see the size chart button exactly where you placed it. Click the button to verify the chart opens correctly.

Troubleshooting

The size chart button isn't showing

• Make sure you clicked "Save" in both the Jotly settings and the theme customizer
• Verify that the product has a size chart assigned to it
• Check that the app embed is enabled (Step 1)
• Clear your browser cache and refresh the page

I don't see the "Add Block" button

Make sure you've selected "Add anywhere in your product page" and clicked Save first. The "Add Block" button only appears after saving this setting.

The button is in the wrong place

You can always reposition the Jotly app block:

1. Go to your Shopify admin → Online Store → Themes
2. Click Customize on your live theme
3. Navigate to a product page
4. Find the Jotly app block in the sidebar
5. Drag it to a new position
6. Click Save
